Professional Software Engineer

About the role

The Professional Software Engineer designs, evaluates, and delivers scalable software solutions that support customer operational and business objectives. This role partners with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Operations, and Business teams to create secure, high‑performing applications aligned with enterprise standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and development of medium to large‑scale software integrating enterprise applications, cloud services, APIs, and automation technologies.
• Analyze business and technical requirements to architect scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineering, UX, QA, Infrastructure, and Operations to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Drive technical estimation, resource planning, and solution costing for new initiatives and enhancements.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and promote engineering standards across development teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, solution architecture, or technical leadership.
• Strong experience designing enterprise‑grade applications and distributed systems.
• Proven ability to lead multiple initiatives in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Ruby, React, TypeScript, C# programming languages.
• SQL Server, Cosmos DB, and other database technologies.
• Azure cloud platform hosting and configuration.
• API design and integration patterns.
• Agile methodologies, SDLC processes, and DevOps practices.
