Maintenance Supervisor – Heinz Lofts

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor for Heinz Lofts will oversee all technical and mechanical work across the community, ensuring buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This role combines hands‑on repairs with supervisory duties to keep the property operating smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders, diagnose issues and perform repairs in line with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, supply procurement, completion of repairs and final inspections.
• Develop and maintain standards for the appearance and cleanliness of grounds, building exteriors, breezeways, signage, parking areas and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, coordinating orders with the Community Manager while staying within budget.
• Execute monthly preventative‑maintenance procedures as defined in the policy manual.
• Assist the Community Manager with various maintenance‑related tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical or technical issues in a residential property.
• Experience coordinating make‑ready activities and managing vendor relationships.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards, building codes and Greystar policies.
• Capability to develop and enforce cleanliness and appearance standards for community areas.
• Organizational skills for inventory control and budgeting of maintenance supplies.
• Willingness to perform regular inspections of work performed by staff and contractors.
