Junior Full Stack Developer (Java/Angular)

About the role

NetServices (NSI) is seeking a Junior Full Stack Developer to provide development and operations & maintenance support for a production Java application hosted in an AWS cloud environment. The role involves collaborating with government and contractor teams to deliver enhancements and ensure reliable production support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide O&M support for a Java application with PostgreSQL backend on Tomcat/JBoss.
• Gather, analyze, and develop enhancement specifications based on system owner input.
• Participate in the full software lifecycle from development through production support.
• Develop and maintain user interfaces using JavaScript and modern front‑end frameworks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Minimum 1 year of professional software development experience.

Required skills

• Java (JEE) development.
• JavaScript/Ajax.
• Angular version 14 or higher.
• Spring Boot & Spring Data JPA.
• Tomcat / JBoss application servers.
• PostgreSQL database.
• AWS cloud services.
• Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Agile methodology.
