Senior Mobile Developer – iOS & Android (Secure Gov Apps)

About the role

MetroStar is seeking a Senior Mobile Developer to design, build, and maintain secure iOS and Android applications for a high‑visibility federal customer. You will work in a classified environment, collaborating with security, backend, and Agile teams to deliver mission‑critical mobile capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and sustain secure mobile apps using cross‑platform frameworks and native iOS/Android technologies.
• Apply secure coding practices aligned with RMF, STIGs, and secure SDLC standards.
• Integrate apps with backend APIs, enterprise services, and identity/access management solutions.
• Support Mobile Device Management integrations, including Samsung Knox and VMware AirWatch.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, communicate progress and risks, and troubleshoot issues in high‑security environments.

Required profile

• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred (experience may substitute).
• DoD 8140 certification (e.g., Security+ or higher).
• 5+ years of professional cross‑platform mobile development for iOS and Android.
• Proven experience with secure mobile architectures, authentication, authorization, and data protection.
