General Manager – Restaurant

About the role

The General Manager leads a McDonald’s‑branded restaurant owned by an independent franchisee. You will be responsible for delivering a profitable operation while maintaining the brand’s high standards of quality, service and cleanliness.

Key responsibilities

• Drive restaurant profitability and meet financial targets.
• Ensure compliance with McDonald’s customer standards for quality, service and cleanliness.
• Set restaurant goals in partnership with senior leadership and develop action plans.
• Lead, coach and develop Department Managers and Shift Managers.
• Oversee hiring, training, scheduling and performance management of the team.
• Monitor departmental performance and implement improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a General Manager in a high‑volume quick‑service or hospitality environment.
• Strong background in restaurant or retail operations.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
