GenAI & Agentic AI Consultant – Data Science Project Lead

About the role

Infosys' Data and Analytics (DNA) unit is seeking a GenAI & Agentic AI Consultant to lead data‑science projects for banking and financial services clients. The role combines strategic project leadership with deep technical expertise in generative AI, ensuring delivery of scalable, high‑impact analytics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with internal and client stakeholders.
• Monitor project performance, providing regular insights on progress, challenges and outcomes.
• Establish and maintain relationships with mid‑level and senior client stakeholders, delivering status updates.
• Facilitate end‑to‑end delivery and implementation of analytics projects, shaping business and technical requirements.
• Identify potential risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
• Develop project estimates aligned with scope, milestones and manage change requests.
• Track estimates versus actuals and oversee allocation of personnel, technology and budget.
• Assist in preparing analytical documentation and ensure solutions are stable and measurable.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading data‑science or AI projects in the banking/financial services sector.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, able to communicate with senior client leaders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, timelines and resources.
• Experience with risk identification and mitigation in complex analytics engagements.
