Project Manager – Remote Federal Healthcare Modernization

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead a 100% remote Agile team delivering a large‑scale modernization project for the Department of Veterans Affairs. The role oversees the full application and systems lifecycle, ensuring alignment with program objectives, budgets, and schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end project delivery using the SAFe DevSecOps framework, from intake through customer delivery.
• Lead Agile Scrum teams, coordinate with technical leads, and support CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, cost tracking, performance metrics, and delivery milestones.
• Report risks, dependencies, impediments, and escalations to program leadership and VA stakeholders.
• Present project vision, roadmaps, and delivery plans to VA leadership and governance groups.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related field.
• At least 8 years of experience managing complex IT projects through the full development lifecycle.
• Proven ability to lead Agile Scrum teams and apply project management methodologies in software development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for executive‑level reporting.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Government/Public Trust clearance.
