Forklift Operator - 2nd shift

About the role

The Warehouse/Forklift Operator works on the 2nd shift to maximize selection and loading of Nestlé products, ensuring accurate orders, meeting target rates, and maintaining product integrity and quality throughout the process.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate a powered industrial truck (forklift) to select and load orders, maintaining internal forklift certification.
• Accurately load finished products onto delivery trucks while completing quality inspection forms and required documentation.
• Use inventory and tracking systems such as EWM and SAP to manage stock moves, replenishment, and transportation planning.
• Identify waste in the distribution center and contribute to continuous improvement action plans.
• Communicate with co‑workers, workflow coordinators, and supervisors to maintain product flow and prevent disruptions.
• Follow corporate safety guidelines, wear personal protective equipment, and keep the work area inspection‑ready.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old with reliable transportation and ability to work in a freezer/refrigerated environment.
• Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience preferred; ability to lift 40 lb repeatedly and stand 6‑8 hours per shift.
• Basic math and computer skills, and ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Successful completion of background check, drug screen, and internal forklift certification.

• SAP (Dock & Yard, Transportation Planning, D‑note creation).
