Financial Reporting / Record to Report Controllership Consultant

About the role

Join Deloitte’s Finance Transformation practice to help finance organizations modernize core processes, improve transparency, and drive better business decisions. As a Consultant on the Record‑to‑Report team, you will work with finance leaders to address controllership challenges through technology‑enabled solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assess current‑state controllership processes, identify gaps, and develop transformation roadmaps.
• Design solution hypotheses using people, process, technology, and governance levers while applying accounting, regulatory, and compliance standards.
• Deploy improvements to finance data models, cost transparency, financial close, consolidation, operations, and reporting using Deloitte tools and accelerators.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, engagement planning, budgeting, deliverable structure, and engagement economics.
• Contribute to proposal development, recruiting, retention activities, and delivery method enhancements.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in entity accounting, finance transformation, technical accounting, FP&A, or related areas.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, Risk Management, Economics or related field.
• CPA, CIA, CFA, CA, CCA, CMA, CAIA, FRM certification or working toward one.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
