About the role
This Federal Work‑Study position supports the Legal Studies program at Athens Technical College, a part of the State of Georgia. The role offers a $10 per hour wage for up to 19.5 hours per week and provides valuable on‑campus experience without state benefits.
Key responsibilities
- Answer phones, make calls, and assist with internal and external program inquiries.
- Support orientations and testing activities.
- Operate office equipment and perform basic computer tasks using Microsoft Office and internet research.
- Complete campus errands as needed.
- Perform other clerical duties as assigned.
Required profile
- Currently enrolled in at least 6 credit hours and maintaining that enrollment.
- Meet Federal Satisfactory Academic Progress requirements.
- FAFSA completed for the current aid year.
- Not in default or owing repayment on any Federal aid program.
- Financial aid file verified by the Office of Financial Aid.
- Strong communication skills and a solid work ethic.
What we offer
- $10.00 per hour (maximum rate).
- Up to 19.5 hours per week.
