Facilities Electrical Engineer – Critical Environment Data Center

About the role

We are seeking a Facilities Electrical Engineer to support critical‑environment data center operations. The role involves monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in high‑availability facilities such as data centers, hospitals, or manufacturing plants.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily operational readings of electrical equipment (temperature, voltage, current) and log results.
• Execute Power Interruption Testing (PIT) and Remote Power Panel (RPP) shutdowns while ensuring critical loads remain supplied.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on UPS systems, building management systems (EPMS), and system control panels.
• Assist with emergency monitoring, response, and troubleshooting of abnormal conditions following SOPs and EOPs.

Required profile

• Hold an OSHA or OSHA‑approved NFPA 70E certification.
• Fundamental understanding of the National Electrical Code.
• Experience with electrical systems in high‑availability environments (data centers, oil & gas, hospitals, etc.).
• Qualified Electrical Worker designation preferred.
