Director of Real Estate - Active Adult

About the role

Greystar is seeking a senior leader to oversee the operational and financial performance of its Active Adult multifamily portfolio in the Atlanta region. The Director will drive results through strategic execution, strong leadership of Regional Property Managers, and close partnership with clients and internal asset management teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Regional Property Managers to ensure alignment with property‑level strategies and regional goals.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections, prioritizing high‑risk or under‑performing assets.
• Monitor and act on key performance indicators such as delinquency, turnover, and make‑ready timelines.
• Develop, execute, and track asset improvement plans with measurable outcomes.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to shape and implement portfolio strategy.

Required profile

• Minimum three (3) years of senior‑level regional multifamily experience.
• Residency in Georgia.
• Proven ability to lead teams, communicate clearly, and hold managers accountable.
• Strong analytical mindset and focus on operational excellence.
