Collision Customer Specialist – Boston, MA (Remote)

About the role

The Collision Customer Specialist will drive sales of 3M’s automotive aftermarket products within the collision repair market. Working remotely from Massachusetts, you will partner with innovative 3M teams worldwide to deliver solutions that meet the needs of repair shops and end‑users.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sales efforts across all 3M product portfolios for the collision repair segment.
• Implement sales programs, plans, and policies in alignment with your supervisor.
• Determine optimal call patterns, priorities, and frequencies to maximize productivity.
• Support headquarters, regional, and zone campaigns and initiatives.
• Create business plans for end users and provide practical solutions.
• Track and measure all sales activity using 3M’s CRM tool.
• Utilize a company vehicle, subject to pre‑employment and ongoing motor‑vehicle history checks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of sales or automotive aftermarket experience, OR a high school diploma with 6 + years of sales experience.
• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Financial acumen and technical knowledge of automotive repair.
• Strong relationship‑building and competitive mindset.
• Well‑organized self‑starter with excellent time and territory management.
• Experience with digital solutions such as inventory management, calibration, or insurance platforms.
• Background in manufacturing or distribution sales and product demonstrations.
