Cellasto Technician I

About the role

The Cellasto Technician I will join BASF’s Performance Materials division in Wyandotte, Michigan, supporting the production of urethane jounce bumpers. This hands‑on role involves operating and maintaining specialized equipment in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues on cryogenic deflashing machines, mold lines, and other HMI‑controlled equipment.
• Maintain equipment performance and report problems to supervision as needed.
• Utilize hand tools, electric pallet jacks, pneumatic tools, walk‑behind floor scrubbers, electric and pneumatic bin lifters, and scan guns.
• Wear and adhere to all required personal protective equipment (PPE) standards.
• Collaborate with Visual, Planning, Impact, Maintenance, and Reactor Room departments to ensure process continuity.
