Board-Certified Pediatric/Adult Emergency Medicine Physician with EMS

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a board‑certified Pediatric and/or Adult Emergency Medicine physician who also holds EMS board certification to join the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Ochsner Medical Center and Ochsner Children’s Hospital. This position provides comprehensive emergency care for both pediatric and adult patients within a leading academic health system.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality emergency medicine services to pediatric and adult patients in a busy Level IV pediatric emergency department.
• Collaborate with in‑house pediatric intensivists, hospitalist attendings, and multidisciplinary specialists 24/7 to streamline admissions and patient care.
• Utilize Epic electronic health records to ensure seamless documentation and coordination across multiple facilities.
• Participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and contribute to ongoing research initiatives.

Required profile

• Board certification in Pediatric and/or Adult Emergency Medicine.
• EMS board certification.
