Account Manager II – Alabama & Georgia

About the role
As an Account Manager II focused on the Growth and Territory segment, you will drive new‑business acquisition and expand existing accounts for AVEVA’s industrial software portfolio across Alabama and Georgia. Working from a home office, you will help customers adopt AVEVA’s agile data platform to create unified digital twins of their engineering and process data.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and engage prospects that have not previously used AVEVA solutions, securing new logos.
- Develop and nurture relationships with existing customers to generate upsell and cross‑sell opportunities and increase annual recurring revenue.
- Create and execute detailed account plans, from prospecting and qualification to closing, meeting revenue targets and accurate forecasts.
- Collaborate with internal cross‑functional teams to deliver value‑driven solutions and resolve customer issues.
- Maintain market knowledge of industry trends, competitive offerings, and customer needs.
- Manage the sales pipeline in Salesforce using the MEDDPICC methodology.
Required profile
- Proven track record in direct sales, preferably selling SaaS or DaaS solutions.
- Experience closing complex software agreements and managing the full sales cycle.
- Strong business‑development skills with a focus on acquiring new customers.
- Background in industrial, engineering or automation software is highly preferred.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM.
