Business Data Analyst – Sales & Performance Insights

About the role

The Business Data Analyst will turn diverse data sources into actionable insights that drive sales growth, improve forecasting accuracy, and support strategic decisions across AlEn USA’s commercial organization.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze syndicated, customer POS, and internal data to identify trends, diagnose performance gaps, and uncover growth opportunities across categories, channels, and customers.
• Support sales teams with predictive modeling and volume projections to enhance forecast accuracy and guide promotional and investment decisions.
• Build and maintain dynamic dashboards and scorecards in Power BI, Excel, and Access, ensuring data integrity, automation, and accessibility.
• Translate insights into clear recommendations for customer plans, trade investments, pricing strategies, and innovation launches.
• Partner with Customer Selling, Trade Marketing, Category Development, and Finance to align insights with execution.
• Provide analytical support for leadership reviews, joint business plans, monthly business reviews, and quarterly planning inputs.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of analytics experience in sales, finance, or category roles, preferably within Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG).
• Advanced Excel and Power BI proficiency.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to turn data into strategic stories.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, solutions‑oriented mindset.
