VP - Chief Compliance Officer

About the role

The Vice President – Chief Compliance Officer leads the company’s compliance program across the United States and all other operating jurisdictions. Reporting to the General Counsel, the role chairs the executive Compliance Committee and provides regular updates to the CEO and Board of Directors.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and oversee a comprehensive compliance and ethics program aligned with Federal Sentencing Guidelines, DOJ guidance and applicable statutes.
• Establish and promote a “tone at the top” and “tone in the middle” that reinforces ethical conduct throughout the organization.
• Conduct periodic compliance and ethics risk assessments and prioritize program initiatives accordingly.
• Chair Compliance Committee meetings, set agendas, prepare materials and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor program effectiveness, recommend internal controls, and ensure detection and prevention of legal and ethical violations.
• Manage retaliation‑free reporting channels, including an anonymous hotline.
• Leverage data analytics to identify compliance trends, gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with HR to distribute the Code of Business Conduct and deliver related training.
• Develop policies, procedures and training for employees, agents, contractors, vendors and suppliers.
• Provide input on performance appraisal and incentive structures to encourage compliant behavior.
• Prepare and present periodic reports on the compliance program to senior leadership and the Board.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading enterprise‑wide compliance programs, preferably in a senior or VP role.
• Deep knowledge of Federal Sentencing Guidelines, DOJ expectations and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to influence senior leadership and embed compliance into business operations.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience conducting risk assessments and using data‑driven insights.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting to executives, the Board and external stakeholders.
