Terminal Manager

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking a Terminal Manager for its Muskogee, OK service center. The role involves planning, organizing, managing, and directing all service center operations to ensure efficient and profitable service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all financial aspects of the service center, including revenue attainment, cost control, and yield improvement.
• Recommend and initiate personnel actions such as hiring, promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures.
• Lead, educate, and develop employees while assisting account managers in customer acquisition and retention.
• Prepare and implement action plans to meet productivity and service goals.
• Oversee safety, security, and loss‑prevention procedures in line with Company, OSHA, and DOT guidelines.
• Maintain clean and safe working conditions for the facility and equipment.
• Submit financial and operational reports as directed and enforce Service Center Work Instructions and Company policies.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of LTL industry, DOT rules, OSHA regulations, hazardous materials handling, NMFC and tariff rules (preferred).
• Strong organizational, logistical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Familiarity with Muskogee and surrounding areas.
