CDL‑A City Delivery Driver

About the role

Join R+L Carriers as a CDL‑A City Delivery Driver based in Muskogee, OK. You will handle local pickup and delivery of freight, returning to the terminal each day while interacting directly with customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform city deliveries and pickups with multiple stops per day.
• Operate scanning equipment to track shipments.
• Interact with customers and provide lift‑gate service using an electric pallet jack.
• Return to the terminal daily after completing routes.
• Maintain safety standards and proper equipment handling.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A with at least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience in the past 3 years.
• Good driving record (no serious violations, ≤3 moving violations in 3 years).
• Age 23 (or 21 if meeting FMCSA specs for military transition).
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Physically able to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable and safety‑focused.

Required skills

• CDL Class A operation.
• Electric pallet jack operation.
• Scanning equipment usage.
• Haz‑mat endorsement (preferred).
• Doubles/Triples endorsement (preferred).
