About the role
This temporary position supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the Alta Riverside community. You will handle daily accounting tasks, rent collection, invoicing, and use property‑management software to keep financial records accurate.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
- Process invoices and payables, code charges to the appropriate Chart of Accounts, and obtain Community Manager approval.
- Operate Yardi/OneSite software, entering transactions accurately and maintaining system integrity.
- Review resident files for unpaid or late fees, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
- Assist with eviction procedures, including notice requirements and court representation when needed.
- Handle resident move‑out processes, applying deposit and lease cancellation fees according to lease terms.
Required profile
- Experience with basic accounting and bookkeeping tasks in a property‑management environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly with residents, vendors, and internal teams.
- Familiarity with eviction processes and lease enforcement.
- Attention to detail for accurate data entry and financial reporting.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Yardi or OneSite property‑management software.
