About the role

Team drivers at R+L Carriers operate 53‑foot van trailers or double trailers on routes between service centers and turn‑point locations. Drivers enjoy a 5‑day on‑road schedule followed by 2 days at home each week, with vacation after 90 days of employment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate 53‑foot van trailers or double trailers on assigned routes, ensuring timely delivery of freight.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations, complete pre‑trip inspections, and adhere to scheduled delivery windows.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A with at least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record (MVR, PSP) with no serious violations and no more than three moving violations in the past three years.
• Age 23 years (or 21 years if meeting FMCSA transition criteria).
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.

Required skills

• CDL Class A operation.
• Hazardous Materials (Haz‑mat) endorsement or experience.
• Double‑trailer handling experience.
