About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking a full‑time Forklift Operator for its Piedmont, SC service center. The position works the second shift, Monday through Friday, from 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM, with a starting wage of $23.51 per hour.
Key responsibilities
- Move various types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long.
- Operate a forklift on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock.
Required profile
- Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
- Read manifests and interact with a computer display.
- Prior forklift experience and dependability in a fast‑paced environment.
- Preferred experience in a fast‑paced LTL (less‑than‑truckload) setting.
