Tax Senior Manager – CPA (10+ yrs)

About the role

As a Tax Senior Manager at DHJJ, you will lead complex tax engagements, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the firm’s growth toward a Principal role. The position blends technical tax expertise with client development and team leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Review and sign complex business, individual, state and local, and high‑net‑worth tax returns.
• Provide tax planning, business consulting, and risk analysis for client transactions.
• Conduct tax research using authoritative and non‑authoritative sources.
• Lead and coach senior associates, managers, and teams, fostering knowledge sharing.
• Support business development by identifying opportunities, writing articles, and participating in recruitment initiatives.

Required profile

• Licensed CPA with at least 10 years of tax experience across multiple specialties.
• Proven ability to manage assignments, mentor staff, and drive firm initiatives toward a Principal position.
