Tax Accounting and Legal Content Manager

About the role

Join the Tax Team at RELX to develop, license, and advise on high‑quality accounting and tax‑legal resources. You will combine deep domain expertise with cutting‑edge AI tools to create timely, insightful content for CPAs, accountants, and attorneys.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth legal research and produce clear, analytical tax‑legal content.
• Oversee licensing and procurement of content for accounting professionals.
• Analyze legislation, case law, and regulatory updates and integrate findings into online and print materials.
• Write and edit high‑quality articles on current tax issues for practicing attorneys.
• Leverage generative AI and automation to streamline short‑ and long‑form content development.
• Collaborate with editorial directors, legal editors, and product managers to scope, draft, edit, and quality‑check new content.
• Identify and recruit authors and contractors, negotiate agreements, and expand the content network.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor required; advanced tax law degree preferred.
• CPA designation required with significant accounting experience.
• At least 2 years of tax‑legal practice and 2 years of accounting experience.
• Strong analytical, research, and original writing skills, including AI‑assisted content creation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using large language models (LLMs) for drafting and editing.
• Familiarity with Lexis+, Lexis+ AI, and Protege legal research tools.
• Knowledge of data‑visualisation tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
