Tasting Room Associate I – Hospitality Role

About the role

A Tasting Room Associate I is responsible for upholding Booker and My Favorite Neighbor standards of organization, tidiness, and cleanliness in both customer‑facing and back‑of‑house areas. You will prepare the tasting room for opening and closing, serve guests, and actively promote wine sales, events, and tours.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the tasting room for opening and closing, ensuring it is stocked and clean.
• Present, pour, and educate customers on selected wines, leading tours and sharing the winery’s story.
• Operate the POS and WineDirect interfaces accurately and efficiently.
• Promote sales of wine, events, and tours to members and guests.
• Maintain cleanliness of facilities, polish glasses, and manage inventory of wine and non‑wine supplies.

Required profile

• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to work weekends and holidays.
• Strong customer service, verbal communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 55 lb and stand for long periods.

What we offer

• Hourly rate $17.00 (tip eligible) with a salary range of $16.90‑$22.20 per hour.
