Tank Technician – Large‑Format Tank Maintenance

About the role

OEG’s Cargo Logistics Division is seeking a Tank Technician to ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of its large‑format tank rental fleet. The role involves regular on‑site inspections, parts management, and direct customer support across offshore energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site inspections of large‑format tanks, verifying condition and certifications.
• Maintain adequate parts inventory on service trucks to enable timely repairs.
• Provide customer support through enquiries, follow‑up calls, and accurate documentation of complaints.
• Renew vehicle inspection tags and licences, and perform preventive maintenance on company vehicles.
• Respond to on‑call service requests and prioritize tasks to meet customer and system demands.
• Prepare and submit field reports promptly to management.
• Identify system discrepancies and suggest continuous‑improvement opportunities.
• Assist in creating and implementing operating procedures and work instructions for field operations.

Required profile

• Three to five years of experience in tank maintenance, inspection, or a related field.
• Willingness to travel as required and be available on an on‑call basis.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to operate service trucks safely.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interaction with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
