Supervisor – Access Services (IMSL/Primary Care)

About the role

The Supervisor of Access Services for IMSL/Primary Care leads a team that ensures patients receive timely and efficient access to primary care services. This position is based at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and supports the institution’s mission to improve patient care across Arkansas.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Access Services department for primary care.
• Monitor and improve patient access workflows and scheduling processes.
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to resolve access issues.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting on access metrics.
• Train and mentor staff to uphold service standards.

Required profile

• Experience supervising a healthcare access or patient services team.
• Strong understanding of primary care access processes.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
