Summer Host

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and professional Summer Host to join our luxury resort in Telluride. As the first point of contact for guests, you will create a welcoming atmosphere from arrival through departure, supporting the high‑end dining experience that defines our property.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, manage check‑ins, and seat guests efficiently.
• Answer phone calls, take reservations, and process in‑room dining orders.
• Maintain accurate records in the reservation system and monitor guest profiles, VIP arrivals, and special requests.
• Coordinate with restaurant and pool staff to optimize guest placement and avoid overbooking.
• Assist with station chart preparation, assign stations, and guide servers on table set‑up.
• Keep the host station and work areas clean, organized, and sanitized.
• Ensure menus and wine lists are up‑to‑date and well‑stocked.
• Resolve guest complaints promptly and collaborate with Food & Beverage Management to set a positive tone.

Required profile

• Prior customer service or hospitality experience, preferably in a high‑end setting.
• Fluent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Minimum legal age to serve alcohol.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to obtain required certifications such as food‑handler or alcohol service permits.
