Strategic Investment Group Analyst – Infrastructure

About the role

Join the Strategic Investment Group within the Investment Banking Division of a leading global bank. As an Analyst you will support high‑profile infrastructure transactions, gaining hands‑on experience in M&A execution and capital raising.

Key responsibilities

• Support transaction execution, including due diligence, document preparation and negotiations.
• Liaise with client advisors, accountants, lawyers and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product and sector teams across the firm.
• Build and maintain complex financial models, perform valuation and analytical exercises.
• Prepare presentation decks, management presentations, board materials and memoranda for M&A and capital markets deals.
• Monitor market developments and maintain knowledge of target client bases.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an investment‑banking front‑office or a related role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or a related field.
• Strong accounting, finance and quantitative abilities with excellent business writing.
• Clear understanding of the transaction cycle and a results‑oriented mindset.
• Impeccable communication skills and the ability to interact with senior professionals and clients.
• Self‑directed, highly motivated and capable of working independently.
