Staff Accountant or Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Staff Accountant or Senior Accountant to own a client portfolio and contribute to the growth of our firm. This position offers a pathway to leadership and potential partnership for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow your own portfolio of clients.
• Provide tax and accounting services to individuals, partnerships, corporations, nonprofits, estates, and trusts.
• Plan, prepare, and review tax returns.
• Meet directly with clients to cultivate strong, lasting relationships.
• Deliver a variety of non‑attest services.
• Oversee and mentor staff, helping to develop future leaders within the firm.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of audit or tax experience in public accounting.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and oversee multiple engagements.
• Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
• Confidence in explaining complex financial concepts to clients from all backgrounds.
• Active CPA license is a plus but not required.
• Farm tax experience is a plus but not required.
