Software Engineer Intern – zdSCADA

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer Intern to join the zdSCADA team at Quorum Software in Tyler, Texas. You will work on a market‑leading SCADA platform, contributing to the full software development lifecycle in an agile, hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development team to improve and expand the zdSCADA platform.
• Design, implement, test, and deploy new features using modern development practices.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, and UI tests to ensure high‑quality code.
• Build custom reports, data exports, and third‑party integrations for customers.
• Provide technical assistance to the internal support team.
• Assist in maintaining SOC2 security controls.
• Work with teammates to enhance product quality and development efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent higher‑level education).
• Strong interest in full‑cycle application development.
• Understanding of object‑oriented programming concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork abilities.
