S&OE Analyst – Short-Term Sales & Operations Execution

About the role

Alcon is seeking a proactive S&OE Analyst to drive short‑term Sales & Operations Execution across a 0–13‑week horizon. You will monitor demand and supply signals, identify exceptions, and coordinate recovery actions to ensure the right product is in the right place at the right time.

Key responsibilities

• Own the S&OE execution cadence for a defined SKU/site/market scope.
• Monitor short‑term supply and customer demand signals and analyze week‑over‑week changes.
• Maintain and validate execution‑critical data such as allocation rules, prioritization logic, and ATP assumptions.
• Partner with Customer Service, Commercial Operations, Finance, Operations, and Logistics to align near‑term priorities.
• Lead daily/weekly S&OE exception reviews, recommending allocations, substitutions, expedites, and recovery actions.
• Coordinate shipment plans with Operations, Logistics, and Distribution to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Track and report S&OE KPIs (OTIF, fill rate, backlog, inventory availability) and escalate risks.
• Prepare concise execution‑ready materials for S&OE huddles and follow up on actions.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to interpret demand, supply, and inventory data.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to communicate changes quickly and clearly to stakeholders.
• Attention to detail in maintaining planning parameters and execution settings.
