Service Technician – Student Living Community

About the role

The Service Technician supports the daily operation and upkeep of the Ridge at Clear Creek/Clear Creek Village student living community. You will ensure that apartments, common areas, and grounds meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and amenities by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and performing general cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to Greystar’s risk‑management policies.

Required profile

• Ability to perform technical and mechanical work in a residential property setting.
• Strong diagnostic skills to identify the source of defects.
• Attention to detail for inspections, documentation, and quality assurance.
• Commitment to safety procedures and risk‑management practices.
• Willingness to work onsite and handle a variety of maintenance tasks.
