Service Technician – Hyundai Vehicles

About the role

The Hyundai Service Technician role at Mills Auto Group in Hampton, VA is a full‑time position focused on diagnosing, repairing and maintaining Hyundai vehicles. The technician will deliver high‑quality service while ensuring excellent customer interactions and a safe, organized garage environment.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil and filter changes, lubrications and tire rotations.
• Inspect vehicles for safety‑related issues and address customer concerns professionally.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards throughout the garage.
• Collaborate with fellow technicians to discuss diagnostic findings and repair strategies.
• Follow dealership policies, procedures and relevant regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a technician in a dealership or related automotive environment.
• ASE certification is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive, professional attitude.
• High school diploma or GED.
