Service Supervisor – Property Management

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Service Supervisor to oversee technical and mechanical work across its residential community. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders generated from resident service requests, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Oversee the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Develop and maintain standards for the appearance of grounds, building exteriors, interiors, signage, parking areas, and other common spaces.
• Periodically inspect work performed by service team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials, collaborating with the Community Manager to order supplies within budget.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance procedures as outlined in company policies.
• Support the Community Manager in various operational tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose and repair maintenance issues in residential settings.
• Experience overseeing make‑ready processes and coordinating vendors.
• Capability to develop and enforce cleanliness and appearance standards.
• Skill in inspecting work of team members and external service providers.
• Proficiency in inventory management and supply ordering.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance best practices.
