Senior Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join Clarasight’s founding team and help shape both the product and engineering culture. As one of the first engineering hires, you will drive full‑stack feature development, contribute to data infrastructure, and influence key technical decisions as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy end‑to‑end features across frontend, backend, and infrastructure, ensuring code quality and scalability.
• Develop robust data pipelines and integrations that power financial and emissions insights, including data modeling, ETL, and analytics foundations.
• Operate with startup agility by wearing multiple hats, making pragmatic technical decisions while keeping long‑term scalability in mind.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and business teams to translate enterprise requirements into technical solutions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Full‑stack experience with technologies such as React/TypeScript, Node.js, and Python.
• Background in fast‑paced, early‑stage startup environments.
• Enthusiasm for automating data‑engineering processes and building ETL pipelines.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and approaches.
