Senior Project Manager, HR Technology & Tools

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join the new Elevate HR Continuous Improvement and Technology team. You will act as a strategic partner, translating transformational priorities into actionable plans and ensuring HR technology initiatives are delivered with clarity and impact.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement project management templates, standards, and governance models for HR Technology & Tools initiatives.
• Lead cross‑functional planning, execution, and control of HR tech projects, managing scope, budget, dependencies, and milestones.
• Facilitate workshops to streamline processes, improve user experience, and accelerate self‑service capabilities.
• Provide strategic guidance on risk mitigation, priority balancing, and work structuring.
• Partner with HR Tech, HR Ops, Business Partners, IT, Digital Innovation, Analytics, and other functions to deliver scalable solutions.
• Deliver concise reporting on progress, risks, resource needs, and value realization to leadership.
• Coach and mentor team members in project management best practices and change readiness.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive consulting experience in project or program management, preferably supporting HR functions.
• Strong background in HR transformation, digital HR, AI, associate experience, and HR technology tools.
• Proven ability to create PM artifacts such as plans, dashboards, dependency logs, and budget trackers.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies that accelerate delivery.
