Senior Mechanical Engineer – Remote (Houston, TX)

About the role

Join a team that's redefining mechanical innovation in the oil and gas sector. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will lead the design, optimization, and validation of advanced mobile mechanical systems that power drilling, completions, well intervention, and field operations.

Key responsibilities

• Engineer mobile mechanical systems for oil and gas applications, including hydraulic equipment, mobile lifting systems, and field‑service machinery.
• Enhance reliability and efficiency for high‑pressure, high‑load, and high‑cycle environments.
• Create detailed CAD models and drawings using Inventor (preferred), AutoCAD, or SolidWorks.
• Test and refine equipment to meet API, ASME, and internal quality standards.
• Diagnose field issues, reduce downtime, and drive continuous improvement in system performance.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and field teams to deliver robust, field‑ready solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in mechanical design for oil & gas or heavy industrial equipment.
• Proficiency in CAD software (Inventor, AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, power units, and mechanical assemblies.
• Proven ability to manage projects from concept through deployment.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
