Senior Manager of Operations

About the role

Istios Health is looking for a Senior Manager of Operations to lead and scale its national telehealth programs and the growing Arizona market. The role works closely with senior leadership, clinical teams, and operational partners to drive day‑to‑day execution, improve financial performance, and support expansion across service lines.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily operations of national telehealth programs and the Arizona market.
• Partner with leadership to develop and execute growth strategies for telehealth, specialty care, and new service lines.
• Oversee back‑office functions including administrative workflows, staffing coordination, vendor management, and operational reporting.
• Manage revenue cycle activities such as claims performance, denial trends, accounts receivable, payer issues, and reimbursement improvement.
• Own budgeting processes, expense tracking, variance analysis, and financial performance reporting.
• Identify and implement operational efficiencies, cost reductions, and scalable workflows across markets.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership to align provider schedules, staffing models, and patient access with business needs.
• Support market expansion in Arizona through referral development, facility partnerships, and operational readiness.
• Track key performance indicators and provide regular updates to leadership.
• Standardize processes for replication across the broader specialty network.

Required profile

• Experience in healthcare operations, practice management, telehealth operations, or multi‑site physician practice management.
• Strong understanding of revenue cycle management, budgeting, provider operations, and back‑office workflows.
• Ability to balance strategic initiatives with hands‑on operational execution.
• Growth‑oriented, analytical mindset with a talent for building processes in a developing organization.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with physicians, operators, and executive leadership.
