Senior Maintenance Technician – Alta Wren

About the role

The Senior Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of the Alta Wren property—including buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, repairs, and final inspections.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by cleaning, pressure‑washing, trash removal, and painting as needed.
• Track inventory of supplies and tools, reorder when necessary, and document all service requests accurately.

Required profile

• EPA Type 1, Type 2 or Universal refrigerant recycling certification.
• Valid driver’s license (required for operating a golf cart on the property).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays and on‑call rotations.
• Physical ability to lift 25 lb independently, 50 lb with assistance, and work in all weather conditions.

Required skills

• EPA Type 1 refrigerant recycling certification.
• EPA Type 2 refrigerant recycling certification.
• Universal refrigerant recycling certification.
