Senior HR Business Partner Manager

About the role

Partnering with the VP of Human Resources, the Senior HR Business Partner Manager drives people strategy for J.Crew’s corporate workforce. The role focuses on aligning HR initiatives with business objectives across Shared Services and Product & Sourcing units.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business leaders on talent management, performance, succession planning, DEI, and change management.
• Act as a strategic advisor on people‑related decisions, providing insight into organizational and talent implications.
• Coach and develop business partners to enhance their leadership capabilities.
• Identify and recommend solutions for talent, organizational, and workforce challenges.
• Lead implementation of company‑wide HR programs, ensuring relevance and alignment with business goals.
• Drive talent planning processes and assess organizational health, diagnosing risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
• Champion J.Crew’s values and culture, serving as the HR expert for employee‑relations matters.
• Monitor retail industry trends to deliver timely strategic recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or senior HR leader in a corporate environment.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to influence senior leaders.
• Excellent coaching and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex change initiatives.
