Senior GL Accountant

About the role

Veeva Systems is seeking a highly motivated Senior GL Accountant to join its fast‑growing Finance organization. You will support the monthly and quarterly close process and collaborate with the International Accounting Team to deliver accurate consolidated financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Support the accounting close process for North America, preparing journal entries and completing reconciliations on schedule.
• Manage daily accounting activities including leases, prepaid expenses, intercompany transactions, and complex accruals.
• Participate in external audits, providing key financial data and documentation.
• Develop, maintain, and document policies and procedures for assigned areas.
• Partner with GL Operations, SEC Reporting, and Technical Accounting teams to create synergies.
• Contribute to M&A accounting activities and drive process improvements or automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience with strong understanding of US GAAP.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Detail‑oriented with strong multitasking abilities in a fast‑changing environment.
