About the role
The ideal candidate will have a strong customer‑service approach, a problem‑solving mentality, and a passion for developing people. This senior position requires excellent communication, analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate across multiple internal customers and service providers.
Key responsibilities
- Responsible for semi‑monthly and bi‑weekly multi‑state US and Canada payroll, including equity compensation tasks.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and multi‑state employment requirements.
- Drive process improvements and automation within payroll operations.
- Partner with Employee Success, Accounting, IT and external vendors to resolve issues and maintain data integrity.
- Lead and develop a remote payroll team, fostering accountability, cross‑training, and strong operational coverage.
Required profile
- 5+ years of progressive payroll management experience, including multi‑state US and Canada payroll.
- Hands‑on experience processing equity compensation (RSUs, stock options) and mobility tax.
- High attention to detail with the ability to consistently meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong analytical mindset.
