Senior Consultant – Energy and Chemicals

About the role

Our client, a leading consulting firm in the energy and chemicals sector, is looking for a dynamic Senior Consultant. The role combines high‑impact project delivery with proactive business development, helping senior clients capture new market opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end consulting engagements for major energy and chemical clients, ensuring quality execution and measurable strategic value.
• Partner with leadership to identify new market opportunities, build executive relationships, and develop winning proposals (RFPs).
• Apply deep sector knowledge (upstream/downstream oil & gas, refining, petrochemicals, specialty chemicals) to solve operational, strategic, or digital transformation challenges.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, driving satisfaction and uncovering account‑expansion opportunities.
• Mentor junior consultants, fostering a collaborative and high‑performing team environment.

Required profile

• 5–7+ years of management consulting experience within Oil & Gas, Energy, or Chemical industries.
• Proven commercial acumen with a track record of originating leads, writing proposals, and closing deals.
• Strong structured problem‑solving abilities, solid financial understanding, and excellent executive‑level communication and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business or related field; MBA or advanced certifications are a plus.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
