Senior Community Manager (Apartment Community)

About the role

This role manages the day‑to‑day operations of an assigned property, overseeing team members, daily activities and resources to achieve budgeted financial and operational goals while ensuring compliance with company policies and housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage property budgets, set rent rates, collect rent and fees, and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, reconcile work performed, and manage petty‑cash expenditures.
• Oversee lease enforcement, approve applications, conduct inspections, handle evictions and collect late fees.
• Analyze market trends and implement leasing strategies to meet occupancy and revenue targets.
• Ensure resident satisfaction by responding to complaints, coordinating maintenance, and conducting regular property inspections.
• Supervise property staff through hiring, training, performance management and maintain owner relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate or related field.
• 4‑6 years of property management, sales, marketing and customer service experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication, conflict‑resolution and customer‑service skills.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated and capable of working independently and as a team leader.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property‑management software (Entrata, Yardi, OneSite).
• Strong skills in Internet use, word processing, spreadsheets and database management.
