Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Join Collective’s Infrastructure team to own and evolve the cloud foundation that powers every engineering effort. You will work across AWS and GCP, partner with product, security, and AI teams, and ensure the platform remains reliable, secure, and cost‑effective as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

• Provision, deploy, and manage cloud resources on AWS and GCP using Terraform IaC.
• Embed zero‑trust security principles, enforce least‑privilege access, and manage secrets and identity.
• Design and implement scalable, cost‑optimized systems and disaster‑recovery plans.
• Own the CI/CD pipeline, set standards, and mentor teams on reliability best practices.
• Automate operational toil, leveraging AI tooling where it adds safety and speed.
• Maintain the observability stack (monitoring, logging, alerting) and proactively resolve performance issues.
• Participate in on‑call rotation, handle incidents, and lead post‑mortems.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience operating production cloud environments at scale.
• Proven ability to define and deliver solutions in ambiguous, fast‑changing settings.
• Strong communication skills to align cross‑functional teams and explain complex concepts.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading post‑incident reviews.
• Comfortable troubleshooting Linux systems via command‑line tools.
