Senior Amazon Connect Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Amazon Connect Developer to design, build and maintain advanced contact‑center solutions on AWS. You will work closely with business stakeholders to translate outbound and inbound call requirements into scalable, automated workflows that power our clients’ digital experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements for outbound and inbound call processes.
• Design, configure, develop and maintain Amazon Connect contact‑center solutions, including inbound, outbound, queue, transfer, callback and whisper flows.
• Develop AWS Lambda functions for dynamic routing, customer lookup and integration with backend services.
• Build and expose REST APIs using Amazon API Gateway to connect Amazon Connect with external systems.
• Utilise Amazon DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, and Kinesis for data storage, monitoring and real‑time analytics.
• Develop Java REST services with Spring Boot and deploy Java back‑ends and React UI applications to OpenShift.
• Leverage AI code assistants (e.g., Cursor) for code generation, refactoring and documentation.
• Perform voice and text call testing using tools such as Cyara.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Extensive hands‑on experience implementing, configuring and supporting Amazon Connect in production environments.
• Deep understanding of Amazon Connect routing concepts, IVR workflows and contact‑flow design.
• Proven experience developing AWS Lambda functions and integrating them with Amazon Connect.
• Solid programming background in Java and Python.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server) and NoSQL (DynamoDB).
