Senior Accountant

About the role

Beast Industries, a fast‑growing media and entertainment company, is seeking a Senior Accountant to own core balance‑sheet processes and support its corporate accounting function. The role focuses on cash reconciliations, fixed‑asset accounting and general‑ledger maintenance, ensuring GAAP‑compliant, audit‑ready reporting as the business scales.

Key responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations for multiple entities and manage automated bank feeds in NetSuite.
• Maintain the fixed‑asset subledger, including additions, disposals, transfers and monthly depreciation.
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile assigned balance‑sheet accounts during monthly, quarterly and annual closes.
• Support general‑ledger activities such as intercompany entries and recurring close tasks.
• Collaborate with AP, AR and Treasury to investigate and resolve reconciling items.
• Assist with audit preparation and provide documentation for external auditors.
• Document, design and uphold internal controls to maintain a SOX‑ready reporting environment.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency and scalability of accounting operations.
• Support NetSuite reconciliations, reporting and system enhancements.
• Contribute to ad‑hoc projects and analyses as needed.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of corporate accounting experience, preferably in a fast‑moving, multi‑entity environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance requirements.
• Detail‑oriented with a process‑focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently and partner effectively with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• NetSuite (ERP) – experience with bank feeds, reconciliations and reporting.
• Advanced Excel for data analysis and journal entry preparation.
