Seasonal Porter – The Riverie

About the role

The Seasonal Porter supports the upkeep and curb appeal of The Riverie community in Brooklyn. Working on‑site, you will ensure common areas remain clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the property throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet waste, keeping all common areas tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist with apartment turn‑overs.
• Change locks according to property policy and verify that pool gates operate safely and meet code requirements.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance complaints sensitively.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete OSHA and related training, and report accidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to identify and report safety hazards.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with respectful resident interaction.
• Willingness to attend safety meetings and complete required training.

Required skills

• Operation of a golf cart.
